Project Brief
I first met Karen Gibson, a Reiki and Holistic Health Practitioner based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands when she was just starting her business, Serendipity Reiki and Holistic Health. New to business, she needed help with designing a new brand identity and an accompanying new website that would effectively represent her services and attract potential clients. We also discussed how to best approach marketing her business and provided guidance on social media.
During our initial consultation, Karen expressed how she wanted to have a website that reflected her unique personality and the essence of her practice. She wanted a brand identity that would resonate with her target audience and communicate her values of holistic healing and well-being.
The Process
Our first step is to really get to know our clients and understand their journey, the story behind their brand and gain an in-depth understanding of their personality and values behind their business. We discussed the essential “must-have” elements and ideas that really resonated with Karen before creating our initial designs. We incorporated the healing hands of Karen’s Reiki practice and her favourite flower, the hibiscus which incorporated even deeper meaning for her into her brand. We were able to find the perfect balance of Karen's unique personality while also resonating with her target audience.
Karen was open to a Brand Soul Elevation session during our work together: this session uses the wonderful tool of the tarot, enabling an intuitive exploration for you and your business. With Karen we were able to uncover an even deeper understanding of the brand story behind Serendipity to incorporate into our branding, as well as providing her with insights to help her develop her offers, guide her marketing and provide practical steps to improve her business.
