Project Brief

Kerry Richards, a Holistic Therapist based in Lancashire in the North West of England had been struggling for FIVE years to get her website live! She had previously hired three different professionals for the task, but none had yet to deliver a completed site. Kerry was very much aware of the difference it would make to her and her business to have a website that was up to the job - from showcasing her wide range of therapies and improved customer experience to her own work/life balance.

Kerry was also feeling overwhelmed and stressed by the manual processes of her current booking system which meant having to manually deal with each and every aspect of client communication through the booking process - an extremely time consuming task.

Our solution was a fully branded website to fully showcase her therapies. We incorporated a brand photo shoot of Kerry working with her clients to enable visitors to virtually step into her therapy room allowing potential clients to experience her work and understand each of her many treatments. Alongside this, we fully integrated and automated her booking system so that it was easy to use for both Kerry and her clients.

The Process

Many clients, just like Kerry can feel stuck and uncertain about the content needed to create their website. It’s extremely important for us to take the overwhelm out of the website creation process, to do this we work collaboratively using online project management tools to enable a streamlined process throughout. Kerry explained, “Lucy has taken the overwhelm out of the whole process. For HALF A DECADE I have been wanting a website, but until now, it hasn't happened. She was very patient with me and by using a shared online tool we were able to work asynchronously so that both she and I could work at times that suited our schedules/working patterns.”

Although Kerry wasn't looking for a new booking system, it was evident that there was a better solution, Kerry told us, "Lucy went over and above and researched a booking system which would integrate with the website. This new system wasn't something that I was expecting to change to, but it has actually made communication with and bookings for my clients easier/simpler. Also, it's made vouchers easier for the recipients to use for bookings. And there is a function to encourage clients to book back in, which is something I didn't have on my previous booking system."

Kerry has an extensive range of therapeutic treatments which she had been struggling to showcase effectively to her clients. We created an easy to navigate system to effectively allow visitors to find the types and specific treatments they are looking for and then allow them to book the treatment of choice directly on the page.

Thanks to Kerry's amazing client's who modelled for her brand photoshoot she had images which really highlight the skill and care of her work and brought Kerry's personality into her website. She also now has a wide range of beautiful images to use on her social media and marketing materials.

The Impact 

Thrilled with the outcome of her new website, Kerry shared, "Lucy went above and beyond by researching and implementing a booking system that integrated seamlessly with the website".

This unexpected addition has made communication and bookings easier for Kerry's clients, as well as simplifying the use of vouchers. The new system even included a function to encourage repeat bookings, something she had not previously had. Kerry told us, "Lucy really does create a seamless package for you: she makes what you hope for come true, and adds some extra magic in!"

Since the website was launched it has already proved to be a powerful tool to showcase her services and reach a wider audience. It allowed her to provide detailed information about her therapies, enabling potential clients to make informed decisions. The website also streamlined the booking process (and thanks to the booking reminders, has already gained business she otherwise would not have had) as well as consolidating her numerous testimonials, instilling confidence in potential clients.

My experience of working with Lucy was REALLY EASY. I was massively overwhelmed by the task but Lucy was very patient with me.

She helped me to overhaul my booking system (something which wasn't originally part of the website) which has really transformed the booking experience for my clients (made it much simpler). So, my clients are happy, and I'm super happy!
